By accessing or using MnemonX ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MnemonX.
MnemonX is an independent software service that gives you one place to keep your personal and business context (your "wallet") and an interface to talk to, and work with, third-party AI models. It is not itself an AI model company: the models are run by their own providers (see Section 11D). The Service includes: encrypted cloud wallet storage with regional data residency (US/EU), and more than one wallet per account on plans that allow it; AI-powered memory import; AI-powered Memory Health analysis (completeness scoring, gap suggestions, duplicate and conflict detection — see Section 7 and our Privacy Policy Section 13); AI Chat with Mox, which can answer, read your files and pictures, make images, video and voice, and pick a model for the task; Studio boards (Design, Code, Plan and Crew) that build websites, apps and designs for you, with optional publishing and hosting (Section 11B) and shared projects (Section 11C); Twin pages, public pages where an AI assistant answers visitors from the information you give it (Section 11E); skills and a Community library (Section 11A); credits, daily allowances and plan limits (Section 6); a native connector, available on every plan, for linking your own AI assistant via MCP (Model Context Protocol) directly to your wallet; an OAuth API allowing authorised third-party applications to access your wallet data with your explicit consent; official SDKs (TypeScript, Python) for developers building on the API; and Team and Enterprise organisation features. See Section 7 for the full detail on OAuth, the native connector, and third-party access.

You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
At signup, MnemonX detects your location and assigns your wallet to the nearest available data region. Currently: United States (us-east-1) and European Union (eu-central-1, Frankfurt). Your encrypted wallet data and encryption keys remain in your assigned region.
Subscription tier, Stripe IDs, and account metadata are always stored on our US database regardless of wallet region. These records do not contain wallet content.
Changing your data region requires a support-assisted migration. Email [email protected]. We will coordinate the transfer of your encrypted wallet to the new region. Automated self-service region changes are not currently available.
Users detected in APAC (Australia/New Zealand, Southeast Asia) or LATAM (South America) regions are shown a "coming soon" page and cannot currently register. When those regions launch, users will sign up directly into the correct regional DB — we will never silently store your data in a region you did not choose.
By checking the SMS consent checkbox during registration or login, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages from MnemonX at the phone number you provide. Consent to marketing SMS is voluntary. Consent to authentication OTPs is required because SMS OTP is the only login method.
OTPs for login and authentication · Security alerts · Account/subscription notifications · Re-engagement messages (at most once every 90 days) · One plan suggestion after the first import on a Free account. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
Reply STOP to any SMS, or use the in-app opt-out toggle. Authentication OTPs cannot be disabled independently of SMS login.

Free / Pro ($19.99/mo) / Premium ($49/mo) / Team ($199/mo for up to 5 seats, additional seats $29/mo each up to 10 total) / Enterprise (custom). Yearly billing costs 15% less than twelve monthly payments (an extra Team seat on a yearly plan is $295.80 a year, charged for the rest of the yearly term when it is added).
All payments processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Cancel at any time. Your plan continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods (except where required by law).
EU consumers: you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. As the Service is digital, the right of withdrawal expires when you first use a paid feature (by your explicit consent at checkout).
UK consumers: same 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, subject to the digital content provision rule above.
Team and Enterprise organizations may elect to pay by invoice instead of card, with payment due 30 days from the invoice date. If an invoice remains unpaid 15 days past its due date (45 days total), we may suspend the organization's access to shared and API features until payment is received. Suspension does not delete any data, remove any member, or affect a member's own personal wallet — it is reversed automatically the moment the invoice is paid.
Each plan includes a monthly allotment of AI Chat credits (Free: 60, Pro: 2,400, Premium: 6,000, Team: 15,000 shared across the account, plus 3,000 per additional seat). Different AI models and generation types (text, image, video, voice) consume credits at different rates based on their cost to us. Unused plan credits roll over to later months while your subscription is active, up to 3 months of your plan's monthly credits. Credits bought in packs never expire. Free-plan credits do not roll over. When a paid subscription ends, unused plan credits stay available for 30 days and then expire. Credits have no cash value and cannot be refunded or transferred. We may change the rollover limit; we will give 30 days' notice of any change that reduces it. See 6.8 for the limits that also apply.
Every plan includes a number of messages each day on our lower-cost models that do not use credits (Free: 30, Pro: 30, Premium: 60, Team: 30 per seat). Answers spoken by a voice assistant connected to your account count towards this. Free also includes 2 messages a week on a stronger model and 1 picture a week. These allowances reset on their own, do not roll over, and once they are used a message costs credits as usual.
AI Chat access is subject to an hourly limit on the number of requests per plan (Free: 5/hour, Pro: 20/hour, Premium: 50/hour, Team: 20/hour per seat), shown on the pricing page. This applies regardless of how many credits are available in your account — it exists to prevent a single burst of activity from disrupting service for other users, not to limit your total usage. Video generation is capped at a lower rate (2-3/hour) on every plan given its higher cost and generation time, regardless of tier.
Additional credits can be purchased separately by any plan at any time, on top of your monthly allotment, at a flat rate of $0.01 per credit: 500 credits for $5, 2,000 credits for $20, or 6,000 credits for $60. Purchased credits do not expire and are used only after your plan's monthly allotment is exhausted.
No third-party AI tool may access your wallet data without you going through our OAuth consent screen and explicitly granting domain-level scopes (e.g. memory.read:work).
Access is limited to the scopes you grant. An app with memory.read:work cannot access memory.read:health or any other domain.
You may revoke any third-party access at any time from Wallet → Connected Apps, or via DELETE /api/oauth/revoke. Revoking stops all future access immediately — it cannot remove information already shared with that tool in a past conversation, the same as any app you have ever connected anything to.
A third-party app (a business or product other than MnemonX itself) must be reviewed and approved via our developer registration process at /developers/register before it may request OAuth access. We notify you via email when a new app is approved.
Separately, every account — regardless of plan tier — automatically has its own personal, unique connector for linking your own AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or any other tool supporting MCP) directly to your wallet. This is not a third-party app and does not go through the developer review process in 7.4, since it is MnemonX's own connector, provisioned for you individually, not a business requesting access to many users' accounts. The same consent, scope-limitation, revocation, and audit-log rules in this Section 7 apply to it identically.
Every API call to your wallet — whether from a third-party app, your own native connector, or an API key — is logged (endpoint, timestamp, scope used). Retained 90 days. Viewable in Wallet → API Access tab, per connection.
If you are a member of a Team or Enterprise organization, that organization's admin may enable a setting that blocks all members — including you — from connecting personal third-party apps, to your own personal domains as well as shared ones. This is disclosed to the admin at the time they enable it and applies org-wide, not per member.
MnemonX may, at its discretion, mark a reviewed third-party app as "Certified," shown as a badge to users. Certification indicates that app's data-handling practices met our review standards at the time it was granted — it is not a warranty or guarantee of the app's functionality, reliability, security, or ongoing behavior, and MnemonX disclaims liability for any certified app's conduct beyond the scope-enforcement described in 7.2. Certification may be revoked at any time without notice to the app's developer or to users.
The optional Alexa skill is offered by MnemonX, but Alexa, Echo devices and the Alexa app are made and run by Amazon, under Amazon's own terms and privacy notice. By linking Alexa you choose to use that Amazon service and are responsible for the choice. What Mox says aloud, and any note you ask it to save, passes through Amazon and is kept by Amazon in your Alexa history, which MnemonX cannot see or delete (manage it at amazon.com/alexaprivacysettings). Mox mainly reads the wallet areas you allow; if you allow writing it can also add short notes you dictate, only after reading them back and hearing you say yes. Private areas need your 4-digit voice code, and details such as passport, ID, bank, card and password data are never read aloud. You can disconnect Alexa at any time at mnemonx.ai/alexa, which revokes its access at once, or from Connected Apps. Disabling the skill in the Alexa app may not reach us immediately, so use Disconnect to be certain. You are responsible for who can hear or speak to your devices.
Job Hunter helps you prepare resumes and keep track of applications. You are responsible for what is sent in your name: you provide or confirm each fact it uses (facts read from a resume you upload count as yours, so review them), you check every resume before you download or use it, and applications go to the employer from your own browser, never from our servers. By default you read the filled form and press Submit yourself. If you choose “Do it for me and submit” (it needs to be switched on in Job Hunter settings, and unlocks only after several of your earlier applications were prepared without problems), the browser helper may press Submit for you when its checks pass, and you are responsible for everything sent that way, so keep the facts it uses true and review what it says it did. A resume is built only from facts you confirmed and every line is checked by software, but a check cannot know what is true about you, and MnemonX does not promise that a resume is accurate, that it passes an employer’s screening software or that you will be interviewed or hired. Do not use it to apply with false information, for roles you are not entitled to apply for, or to send applications in bulk. A Twin made for a job is a public page that answers only from the questions and answers you approved: you are responsible for those answers and for sharing the link only with people you choose. Employers and job sites may have their own rules about automated or assisted applications, and following them is your responsibility. Job Hunter uses credits and has daily limits.
Where MnemonX acts as a data processor on behalf of enterprise customers (e.g. organisations using MnemonX to manage employee AI context), the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) governs that relationship in accordance with GDPR Article 28. Key commitments:
MnemonX does not sell personal information as defined under CCPA §1798.140(t). MnemonX does not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising as defined under CPRA §1798.140(ah). Where MnemonX acts as a Service Provider to California businesses, we: (a) process personal information only for specified business purposes; (b) do not retain, use, or disclose personal information outside the service relationship; (c) comply with all applicable restrictions under CCPA §1798.140(ag).
You may not use MnemonX to:
The MnemonX platform, brand, and code are the property of MnemonX. You retain full ownership of all content in your wallet.
By using the AI import feature, you grant us a transient, non-exclusive licence to process your import text solely for the purpose of extracting and structuring it into your wallet. This licence terminates immediately after extraction.
What it is. A skill is plain written instructions that change how the assistant answers. Paying account holders aged 18 or over may submit a skill they wrote themselves for the Community library, and other paying account holders may install it.
Ownership and licence. You keep ownership of a skill you submit. By submitting it you confirm that you wrote it or have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights. You grant MnemonX a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, scan, review, display and make it available to other users of the Service, and you grant each user who installs it a non-exclusive licence to keep a copy and use it in their own account for as long as the skill remains available. If you withdraw a skill, or we remove it, installed copies stop working. Copies a user has edited become that user's own skill.
Review. Every skill is scanned automatically and approved by us before it is public. Approval is not a guarantee that a skill is accurate, safe or suitable, and we are not responsible for what a skill from another user tells the assistant to do. A community skill does not give the assistant any extra tools or access.
What you must not submit. Skills that contain personal data, secrets or passwords, code or hidden text, attempts to change the assistant's rules, misleading, unlawful, hateful, sexual or harmful content, advertising or links to push people elsewhere, content aimed at children, or anything copied from another person's work.
Credit for authors. When another paying user uses your approved skill for the first time, your account receives 20 credits (one time for each person), up to 4,000 credits a month. These numbers can change; the Community screen shows the current ones. Credit is added to your MnemonX credit balance only. It has no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, transferred or sold, and is subject to the same rules as other credits. You earn nothing from your own use. Withdrawing, removing and sharing a skill again does not earn credit twice for the same person.
Abuse and takedown. We monitor use of shared skills. We may decline, remove or suspend any skill at any time, withhold or reverse credit, and suspend or close an account, if use looks artificial or abusive (for example arranging for others to use a skill only to generate credit), if a skill breaks these Terms, or if we receive a valid complaint. To report a skill or claim that it infringes your rights, write to [email protected] with the skill name and the reason.
Minors. Sharing a skill and earning credit are only for account holders who are 18 or over (or the age of majority where they live) and on a paid plan. Skills are not to be directed at children.
Taxes. You are responsible for any tax that applies to credit you receive.
Your responsibility. You are responsible for every website you publish through the Service and everything on it. Each website is scanned before it is published and again when you update it. Passing a scan is not a guarantee that a website is lawful or safe.
Complaints and takedown. If we receive a complaint about a website, or our checks suggest abuse, we may take it down immediately while we investigate, and we may remove it for good and stop you publishing again. We are not responsible for any loss caused by a takedown or an investigation, including lost sales, income, search ranking or traffic, or time the website was offline. We may refuse to host any website or person.
Records are kept. We keep records of reported websites (the website, your agreement to the publishing terms, the complaints, what we decided and the contact details we used) even if you delete the website, clear your data or delete your account, for as long as needed to investigate, to protect other people and to handle legal claims. While a complaint is open, or after a website was removed for abuse, you cannot clear your data or delete your account. Once the matter is finished and we have told you, you can, and we then delete these records, keeping only what the law requires or a minimal record that lets us stop a banned person from publishing again.
Organisation accounts. The same applies when an organisation removes a member: deletion of that account waits until the matter is finished and we have been in touch with the organisation.
Limits and availability. Each website includes 300,000 visitor requests and 40 builds a month. A website that reaches its traffic allowance is paused until the next month unless the owner adds more traffic, and we tell the owner. After 40 builds in a month each extra build costs 25 credits. We may change these limits, and we do not promise that a website is always available or fast. Websites and apps are run for us by infrastructure providers (currently Vercel and Cloudflare), and an outage or change on their side can affect your website.
Hosting plan and payment. Each website has its own paid hosting plan: $15 a month or $153 a year, charged to the account that owns it. If a payment fails the website keeps running for 7 days and is then paused until the payment is made. You can cancel at any time and the plan runs to the end of the paid period; we do not refund part of a period except where the law requires it. A plan that is refunded in full or disputed ends at once. While a website is paused its files are kept. Deleting a website deletes its files, its database and your agreement records for it, except the records described above. Prices may be shown without tax; tax is added where the law requires it.
Security checks and updates. Before a website is delivered and again when it is published, we check its code and its packages for known security and privacy problems. We stop a website only when it can put MnemonX or other customers at risk (for example code aimed at our systems, an install script that downloads or reads secrets, or malware in a package); other findings are shown to you with how to fix them, and the AI developer can fix them (a small amount of security fixing is free each month for each website; the rest costs credits). Every day we check the packages of live websites and, when you allow it, we can apply a safe update within the same major version, check that the pages still answer, and undo it if anything fails. An update uses one of your monthly builds and no credits. We cannot promise that an update never changes how your website behaves or that it has no vulnerabilities; you remain responsible for it.
Your keys and other services. If your website uses another company's service (for example Google, OpenAI, Stripe or a database), you use your own account and your own key. MnemonX never adds its own keys to your project. You are responsible for creating the key, keeping it secret, restricting it where the provider allows, and for all charges and misuse of it. A key that is part of a website's public code can be read by anyone who opens the website. Keys and connection addresses you save with us are stored encrypted, used only to run your project, never shown again, and deleted when you delete the project or your account.
Reports about websites. Anyone can report a website without an account. We keep the report, the reporter's connection address and any email they chose to give, and we do not tell the website owner who reported them.
What can be shared. The owner of a Design or Code project can share it with up to 5 people who belong to the owner's Team or organisation. Mox Studio is never shared. The owner can remove a person at any time, and a person can leave. Access also ends if the person leaves the Team or organisation.
Ownership. The project stays the owner's, on the owner's account. What a member adds becomes part of the project, and the member allows the owner to keep, change, publish and delete it as part of the project. Sharing does not change who owns anything else.
What a member can do, and cannot. A member can open and edit the project, comment, run checks and previews, use the project's database and keys (without being shown the key values), and ask the owner to publish. Only the owner can publish, delete the project, share it, and change its billing. The owner has the last word on publishing, and the owner is the "you" in clause 11B for anything published.
Credits. An AI request a member makes is paid with the member's own credits. Automatic checks, test runs and previews of the shared project may be paid with the owner's credits or the Team pool. Owners should share only with people they trust to do this.
Working at the same time. When several people change the same project, we join the changes automatically. If two people change the same thing, one version is kept and the other is saved next to it as a copy, but we do not promise that every change is joined the way you wanted, and a person with access can delete or overwrite work. Keep your own copies of anything important; version history is a convenience, not a backup.
What others see about you. Other people in a shared project see you only as the last four digits of your phone number (Team) or a masked email address (organisation), plus, for under a minute, where your pointer is and what you have selected. We do not show your name, full phone number or full email.
Your responsibility. Each person is responsible for what they add and for following clause 10 (Acceptable Use). If an owner's project is taken down or an account is closed, all members lose access to it. If the owner deletes the account, shared projects are deleted with it.
Third-party models. When you chat, ask for a picture, a video, a voice or code, your request is answered by an artificial intelligence model made and run by an independent third-party provider (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or another provider shown in our Privacy Policy). MnemonX builds the interface, the memory, the credits and the backend that connect you to those models. We do not own, train or operate those models and we do not claim them as our own. We are an independent customer of those providers: we pay them to process your requests, and the credits and plan fees you pay MnemonX cover that cost together with the interface, memory and backend we provide. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by their providers. Product and company names belong to their owners. Our descriptions such as "best AI for the task" are our own judgement, not a promise about any model or provider. What you buy from MnemonX is access to MnemonX and the credits that pay for using these models through it; it is not a licence from, or a contract with, the model provider.
Which model answers. Where you choose a model, we send your request to it. Where Mox chooses, it picks one for the task and may switch to another if the first is unavailable or does not meet our checks. The providers we use, and the model behind a given answer, can change over time.
Providers' terms. Your use of a model is also subject to that provider's usage rules. You must not use MnemonX to do anything those rules forbid. A provider may refuse a request, change or withdraw a model, or have an outage, and we are not responsible for that.
Outputs can be wrong. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, biased or similar to existing material. Check it before you rely on it, publish it or send it, and do not use it as the only basis for medical, legal, financial or other important decisions. Where the law allows, you own the output you create with the Service, but we cannot promise that an output is unique or free of third-party rights, and you are responsible for how you use it.
Your page, your responsibility. A Twin is a public page, shared by link, where an AI assistant answers visitors from the information and documents you gave it. You are responsible for what you put in it and for having the right to share it. Do not put in anything you do not want visitors to read: the assistant may repeat it.
Answers can be wrong. The assistant is an AI model run by an independent provider (see Section 11D). Its answers can be inaccurate or incomplete, and are not advice from you or from us. Tell your visitors that they are talking to an AI.
Visitors and credits. Visitors use your credits, in batches, up to the limit you set. When your credits or the batch run out the page stops answering. We keep a log of the questions for you, with a one-way hash of each visitor's connection address, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Misuse. We may turn off a Twin page that is used to deceive, harass or harm people, or that breaks Section 10, and we can remove the link at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. MnemonX is not liable for loss of encrypted data arising from forgotten credentials, device loss, or infrastructure failures outside our control. Our total aggregate liability in any 12-month period shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
EU/UK consumers: Nothing in these Terms limits statutory consumer rights under applicable EU/UK law, including mandatory warranty rights and remedies for defective digital content under the EU Digital Content Directive (2019/770).
You may terminate your account at any time from wallet settings. We may terminate accounts for material breach of these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity. Upon termination, your encrypted wallet is immediately and irreversibly deleted from the regional database.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes: binding arbitration under JAMS Streamlined Rules, conducted in English, virtual.
Governed by California law. CCPA rights are non-waivable. Disputes: JAMS arbitration. Class action waiver applies to the maximum extent permitted by CA law.
For EU consumers, mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence apply. Disputes may be referred to your national consumer protection authority or the EU ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/odr).
Governed by English and Welsh law for UK users. UK consumer statutory rights are unaffected by these Terms.
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes via the Service and, where required by law, via SMS or email. For EU/UK consumers, material changes that negatively affect your rights require 30 days notice before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
